The Joy House foyer gives you access to all the guest areas, starting with a beautifully appointed large common room with a comfortable sitting area for complete enjoyment of the fireplace, Cable TV Comcast Digital (with On Demand) and a superb sound system with a large selection of beautiful classical CD's. Each B and B room has an IPOD ready clock radio so you can listen to your music in your room.
Breakfast is served daily in the dining room and features a delicious mix of fruits, juices, cereal, eggs, and freshly brewed coffee. Chef Barbara loves cooking for our guests at the Joy House B & B. And Peter has become a terrific baker of muffin tops and other pastries.
The Joy House is a beautiful pre-Revolutionary War house that has been remodeled for the comfort and security of our guests.
The Joy House garden has become Barbara's labor of love beginning early in the spring of each year. Now that the botanical foundation has been laid, Barb is busily watering and nurturing her lovely plants. The garden has become a favorite with family and guests for relaxing and reading.
Our Guest Suites combine the comforts of home, the charm of a historic private residence and diversity of the local culture.
